Background::
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Nokham worked as a Victim/Witness Advocate with the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office where she helped victims and witnesses of crime through the criminal prosecution process. While in law school, Ms. Nokham was a recipient of the Suffolk Public Interest Law Group (SPILG) Fellowship which allowed her to work as an intern at the Greater Boston Legal Services’ Immigration Unit. At Greater Boston Legal Services Ms. Nokham assisted indigent members of immigration community obtain permanent legal residency status. Upon graduation from law school, Attorney Nokham worked as assistant district attorney for the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office prosecuting criminal cases from 2001 to 2004. In 2004, Attorney Nokham worked for the Legal Division of the Massachusetts Department of Correction from 2004 to 2007 where she litigated civil rights and tort cases in both state and federal court as well as provided in-house counseling on various matters such as medical care of inmates, criminal offender record information, public records, Code of Massachusetts Regulations, and the Massachusetts Tort Claims Act
